Technical queue....technical queue....technical queue. Finally i've broken the barrier on it. Been taking the cable, sim card and mobile queues before. Took 3 technical queues and managed to clear them with ease. Well, with the aid of colleagues of course. Reason is to not make a mistake especially on the paperworks. Technical queue is actually fun where customer walks in to replace faulty handsets.That's one and the other is that they can come in to request for blackberry settings, pushmail services, etc. Anything to do with handset setting besides MMS and 3G settings. Upon one transaction, it will take at least 40 mins. In another words, it kills time.
Another knowledge of taking the technical queue is to learn more about handsets specifications. But the main thing about technical queue is that you know the kind of phone not to be purchased. Reason is simple, if the same models keep coming back, meaning that model of handphone is problematic. I will not specifically state the model of the phone as it will cause inconvenience to any reader using the brand.
Phones come in different specs and the lamest reason of wanting to exchange it, is by declaring that, "I can't hear properly the other party talking, but i've maximise the speaker volume". Well, dig your ears man. And the person wanting a new set to be tested, if he's happy then he'll take. If not, then he won't take. Sounds easy, but for us, once the sealed is broken it's considered sold. Not like those shirts or shoes at pasar malam and Bata respectively, where one can try it on and if not convince, just walk away not buying. Unless the set is defect upon opening, then it's another story. Finally, after letting him try a new set, his reply was "Ahh, this one sounds 10 percent better than the previous one". Oh Whatever.
Handsets can come in different type, those normal ones, PDAs and even those new phones that u can't even figure out where's the power button and how to take out the back cover to take out the battery. Some are better, where u can't find the sim card slot. I may sound dumb in this, but if one is to get those really weird phones, goodluck.
Now for me, i roughly know what are those problematic phones and what are those phones that's not user friendly. Will filter my search from now on as there's a lot of phone that currently attracts me. Do not be fooled by it's outlook or one might end up being a regular customer at their service centre. With that in check, it's time to save up a lil bit as i've been overspending lately on pampering my ride.
