It all started in 2005, the day my hand and fingers start to play those percussions. And from then on, never look behind nor feel remorse bout the whole situation. People tend to look and deep inside thinking that this is such a waste. Neither did they know that what we relay in those songs were messages and reminders given out through melody and harmony.

Messages that hopefully one day will make them realise that the world isn't everything. First competition over at Bedok CC organised by the pioneer of the lot, Kelana Purba was an experience that I will not forget. Although the placing was kind of heartwrenching, it marks the beginning of a revival. A revival that our alumni will stand up and acknowledge. And one famous alumni is Suzairhe Sumari. Till in a particular competition, we came in third. Little did we know that after that particular competition, one by one there is invitation to perform in shows at community clubs, wedding functions as well as Hari Raya Celebration. Till a day that we have to push some of the invitations.

From then on we expand it to a package that consists of Dikir performance, kompang and silat. Till date the likes of me, black, bear, acir, ucop, afa, fahrur, singh, quddus,bas, zam, jak the giant and bob still goes on with behind the scene of the group. Although much of the trainings and practises were missed, we still have our heart intact with Raja.

And for Sunday's comp organised by Andika, it's such a pity that I can't play due to commitments for trainings, wishing each and every member of Rajawali the best of all for the competition. Placing is not important, but the heart in playing and performing that matters. Before each competition, the marks are null and level with the rest. Therefore, it depends on the 15 mins that hopefully can win the audience. Good luck guys, and I will try to be there after my soccer game.

For the record, being in the situation isn't bad as what it thinks. Defying all the odds and circumstances of the past and relishing the dream. Major honours given out to the winners and kudos will come tapping on the shoulder. Eventually, looking back and pondering is it real that it had gone this far. But more precise, this very moment.

One calendar cycle had gone since that incident. Little did it damage the path of life called independency. Camouflaging into the world that is left for two solid years as well as the fact of being productive. Abundance in self-belief of becoming a great artiste, a self-proclaim superstar and also the great one. Making this look easy and minute, embarking on the journey begins as soon as possible.

Thus far, fingers are still crossed hoping for an intersection that will change the whole course of direction as it goes by. And when that moment comes, which way should be taken? Right for now, left for yesterday or just plain straight for tomorrow.

Having hard times lately, but through he smiles expressed it's sort of wiped out the entire story. Looking here and there and everywhere to get a good and back to normal life. Then came the opening that i didn't even thought of getting. Without hesitant it was replied in a fast and furious manner. Unlike before, thinking before acting is necessary, but as for this one particular event, no second thought needed.

Hope all goes well as planned for this saturday as well as sunday too. The family event and the wedding convoy. And to top it off, a well deserved break on monday. If that's still ain't enough, there's a saying from an FJC bro that 24 hrs clinic is there to be visited. That's life and sadly, that's what we all are going through.

Really haven't look into the interior of the ride as i really need to clean it thoroughly. The smell of cigarette lingers each and everytime the door is opened. There's no use in having car perfume as i smoke while driving. Therefore, maybe pandan leave helps. Then again, it will be of no difference.

Having reserved the HKS Exausht and Espelir Lowering Spring really making me can't sleep as keep thinking and waiting for the day it's gonna be installed. That day will be 22 Nov 08. 8 days away from perfecting my noble ride. Easy said then done. Reason being, when you are with the MRFJC guys, those ants will start to make your bum itch thus poisoning you to add more stuff to the ride.

Be it legally or the other, sincerity is what matters most. Getting into the beat of it is the only step that is needed to see the world come crashing down.Being honest is the perfect and wonderful criteria in supporting the reason.

Finding hard to believe at first is a common practice. But, by judging from the look in the eyes, it won't be difficult to tell. Had been missing her lately and though it's just for the past week or so, sometimes when the person is no longer there, that's where those memories of it lingers. THE FJC DECAL

Last friday, 5th Sept 08 saw a fleet of close to 50 cars lined up at carpark G Kallang Leisure Park for a mass meet up. Some came alone, others by convoy of atleast 10 cars in total. Although there were some other car clubs that was present, like the Airwave club, Crossroad club and even the Mitsubishi Colt club, ours was the main attraction with all parked side by side in the last two rows of the carpark. Made new friends and car kakis over there exchanging ideas on mods and stuffs.

Became an official member at the meet up by regestering with the moderators over there. Next is awaiting the pasting session or shall i say mass pasting session of the FJC numbering sticker at the back windscreen. So far no news yet, but i believe it's gonna be soon. There was quite a number of malay Fit/Jazz members turn out that night. Most were family man and the thing that i respect most of them is they make an effort to come down, even if they are busy with work and family commitments.

Next up in the list is the mass convoy of atleast 20 Fit/Jazz cars for the Charity Drive (Ramadhan On Wheels) this coming 20th Sept. Most of the participants are malay but there are one or two non-malay drivers joining. It just shows that the bonding and respect among FJC is great. Will be counting down to the event which fall in 12 days time and hope the turn out will be more than expected.

Once again, am thanking all the bros especially the mods for the meet up last Friday and making my stay a fun and memorable experience of which i will not forget. Here i am asking whoever is reading this post to make yourself free on the 20th of Sept to join us in the Charity Drive regardless of what type of car you drive. Today you help the less fortunate, and when you are in need one day, others will come to lay a helping hand.

Happy Birthday

One year back, while on duty at Changi Airport received an sms from my cousin. It reads, "Boy, Fitri dah dapat adik. Girl". All i could say was thank God. There came this little small baby named Nur Fitriana Najwa. The gift that was given to our family that made everyone smile when she was present. It's been a while since our family has a little kid. The baby of the family that will receive full attention and loved from us. The one that made everyone's day after a long day at work. Today, 25th Aug 2008 marks her first birthday and here's uncle wishing you a very happy birthday. Stay cute always.

Farewell For Leon (The multiskilled CSE)

Like it or not, to move on in life, things has to end from one place as a new beginning awaits in another. As for Leon, like he said, leaving Starhub is a very difficult step to take. Although i've been here for a mere 3 months or so, but had clicked well with all especially Leon. The mentor who likes to do things 'chop-chop' and get it over and done with. He is trained in the IT department especially when it comes to Blackberry configurations. A multiskilled CSE whom can take over the cashier's duty as well.

He is always there to rendered the support needed eventhough a stupid question is posted to him. Doing sim card closing duties if tagged with him, is the best choice of all as within 20 mins, he's done with it. Usually sim card closing duties will take an hour atleast, but i doesn't know how he does it in just 20 mins.

A good mentor and a great friend. Someone who one can share and take jokes. Someone who will help eventhough he is eating for lunch. Someone who can explain to you in detail about the problems u get from a customer. A never say die attitude of him makes him well loved and like in the Tampines CSC.

Technical queue....technical queue....technical queue. Finally i've broken the barrier on it. Been taking the cable, sim card and mobile queues before. Took 3 technical queues and managed to clear them with ease. Well, with the aid of colleagues of course. Reason is to not make a mistake especially on the paperworks. Technical queue is actually fun where customer walks in to replace faulty handsets.That's one and the other is that they can come in to request for blackberry settings, pushmail services, etc. Anything to do with handset setting besides MMS and 3G settings. Upon one transaction, it will take at least 40 mins. In another words, it kills time.

Another knowledge of taking the technical queue is to learn more about handsets specifications. But the main thing about technical queue is that you know the kind of phone not to be purchased. Reason is simple, if the same models keep coming back, meaning that model of handphone is problematic. I will not specifically state the model of the phone as it will cause inconvenience to any reader using the brand.

Phones come in different specs and the lamest reason of wanting to exchange it, is by declaring that, "I can't hear properly the other party talking, but i've maximise the speaker volume". Well, dig your ears man. And the person wanting a new set to be tested, if he's happy then he'll take. If not, then he won't take. Sounds easy, but for us, once the sealed is broken it's considered sold. Not like those shirts or shoes at pasar malam and Bata respectively, where one can try it on and if not convince, just walk away not buying. Unless the set is defect upon opening, then it's another story. Finally, after letting him try a new set, his reply was "Ahh, this one sounds 10 percent better than the previous one". Oh Whatever.

Handsets can come in different type, those normal ones, PDAs and even those new phones that u can't even figure out where's the power button and how to take out the back cover to take out the battery. Some are better, where u can't find the sim card slot. I may sound dumb in this, but if one is to get those really weird phones, goodluck.

Now for me, i roughly know what are those problematic phones and what are those phones that's not user friendly. Will filter my search from now on as there's a lot of phone that currently attracts me. Do not be fooled by it's outlook or one might end up being a regular customer at their service centre. With that in check, it's time to save up a lil bit as i've been overspending lately on pampering my ride.

Hate it when it comes to slow movement. Didn't one knows that the most right side is the express lane and when you see the center of the group overtakes, damn it boils inside of me. If one is going to drive slow and road hog, please, you are cordially invited to the most left lane. You still got the cheek to stare when you're overtaken. Oh my, what a shame. For all the money that you spent on driving course i think it's better to just donate it to the earthquake victims or better, get a cab and pay the driver.

Driving a Grandvoyager on the right lane and going at 80km/hr is truly unacceptable. Didn't know what was his reason behind it. It endangers other drivers as they approach. There's many ways to be famous or to appear yourself on the newspaper, but to appear on the obituaries section ain't glamour totally. Just wish the driver can wake up to his sense and realise that what he did today at the PIE was unacceptable.

Not just me that i think felt pissed, i heard a car horn and another high beam on the fellar but he was just in his own world of hogging. Feeling irritated, I just kept silent. Being behind him was the most annoying part of the journey and when i got passed him, as a mark of 'respect', stared at him but he just smiled and continue with his driving. Sometimes people think with their feet i guess. It's just ridiculous. How i wish there's a traffic light infront where i can at least wake him back to life.

If he's having a hard day at work, so does everyone else. There's a lot of drivers and riders using the expressways to get from one place to another. Expressways aren't name as expressways if there's traffic stops. Therefore, please follow the speed accordingly and hogging at the first lane is the most embarrasing act of drivers shown. If there's a number of drivers like him, there isn't a need to built expressways in the first place.

Been in and out of the limelight recently. Following up from case to case, pleasing the customer on what they prefer. Getting use to the people awaiting to be served is another lesson in the timetable. In their mind was " c'mon man....press the next queue... ". And here we are trying to key in our reports for the last cust that just left our counter. Can't they just understand that we need to key in reports as to save our ass in future when the customer, who noes, returns to dispute. All they know was for us to press the next queue.

As an act to acknowledge their presence, is to smile at them. But some just will keep staring at us and the queue number board as a way of hint. Others will either look at their watch or worst, stand up with their arms folded. Eventually, all will be served cause its a matter of time before they take the seat at the counters. We on the other hand will rush through the last customer report and click next. The next thing you here is " Queue Number.....bla bla bla bla....." and a new story unfolds.

Alternatively, just go backend to have a cup of Ocean Water and take a 30 sec break. Tried sneaking out to smoke before, but just didn't like the idea of rushing through the cigarettes. To put it simply, its rush our while one is on duty. The adrenalin rushes through the veins as we try to clear as many customer as possible. The longer one drag, the longer waiting time the next customer will have to wait.

Always been told to put ourself in the shoes of the customer. The longer you wait, the more it boils inside. I can assure that no one in this world likes to wait. But that's the purpose of a queue, first come first served. Serving them and giving them a solution is the reason that makes our job meaningful. Everyone that approaches us is down with a problem and to be able to solve them, takes a burden off the customers' shoulders. But a point to note, not all of the problems can be solved at the moment of time, certain problems needs to be followed up regularly to avoid complaints and further disputes.

Complaint is what i get when another dikir mate got married yesterday. Wasn't able to attend as i'm working. Did call him while he was on the way with his bride back to his house around 3pm. Atleast i did call acknowledging his wedding and wishing him. Well Zam, sorry for not attending for your big day yesterday. And not forgetting, hope u haf an everlasting and blissful marriage.

Moving on from the past makes life more interesting and beautiful. Didn't expect to get the unpredictable outcome as by the looks of things, it isn't likely to be like this. But, that's the nature of of results. Be it good or bad, the clock ticks away as the day changes to night. Bottom line is, life has to go on. Self explanatory in a way, where reasons are just backup personnel awaiting those disputes to grow even bigger. When disputes becomes uncontrollable, reasons barge in without us noticing. That moment of madness is the one that will shape the future.

Talking about future, a great friend of mine, Muhd Hardi Bin Ghazali aka Bear will be getting married this weekend. Those fond memories while we were rivals during sepaktakraw tournaments in primary school still lingers within me. His school was my school's rival and although there's bad blood during the tournament, we're still the best of friends after all.

He was the one who introduce me to dikir barat. There's where i learn one of malay's traditional form of art. We went through competitions after competitions together till he call it quit. And soon, me too followed in his footsteps. The times in SP was the best i think when we chill together till late evening with the rest of the guys chatting on absolutely nothing. Our usual haunt during poly times was the one and only, Cuppage Plaza. There, the pool and food is considerably cheap for town areas as such.

Glad that he finally settle down with his gal, Nur Wahida. Both of them were like matchmake in heaven i shall say. Can see the closeness and the rapport between them. The laughters that was created by them was natural. It is down to one thing though, as i end this post, Bear is left with a solid 48 hours to enjoy life to the fullest before being declared a husband or officially married. When i contacted him today, the mood was normal and was kinda surprised when he say he's gonna work till friday. Well, that's Bear, out of ten that he says, maybe only two can be taken into consideration.

And to Bear and Ida, wish u all the best for this weekend and hope both of u will have a blissful and blessed marriage. To Bear, hope u will still be as selamba as before. Looking forward to the dishes on sunday. Had been awaiting for it for a long long time i shall say. Its time to rock and roll and churn out the bills this sunday at Hougang Ave 8. Cheers.

Saying is easy but going through it all is a totally different thing. Making sure everyone has its own share of happiness makes life diificult for some. Draining those authentic sacrifices and not to have it remembered at the end of the day, will be a major upset. While one party is fine tuning to the pace, the other whose well ahead, knows that if all fails there's a potential back-up. Potential back-up is the last resort in ensuring things goes to plan.

Soon, it's time to realise that not all mission can be accomplished. As it is getting further and further, drifted by the current and out to the wide sea, not much can be done to amend it. Relying on what is left in hands, and picking up the left-over pieces, it's a long way back home. In life, it's divided into chapters and that's the end of a chapter. No one knows what the next chapter is or will be like. Only the author of the book knows the answer.

Trying to search in vain and one will end up disappointed. As a matter of fact, things doesn't come easy. Be it day or night, rain or shine the whole process might takes months or even years. Therefore, it is advisable to let it come naturally. No point searching when one doesn't know what he or she wants. There's more things to be done than sitting down and thinking hard. Eventually, it will be a burden or worst, obsession and will become hazardous if it is not dealt with properly. To sum up, miracles do happen.

Been on closing shift for the past few days. Routine upon reaching home has been shower, have a cup of warm milo, and had a puff before checking emails and back to bed. Nothing much to do when u reach home at midnight and the roads were like heaven. As peaceful as one can be. The serenity is what makes it so sleepy throughout the whole journey. And yes, missed those times of taking the public. Can't yet get the season parking for this month at Tampines neighbourhood surrounding Tampines Mall. Guess have to enjoy as much as i can taking train and bus.

Ample sleep is essential in my line as it's a turn off to see someone serve u yawning. And those action will hinder the progress as well as the performance of the individual in the company. Furthermore, as a new staff, much of the performance is graded through punctuality, taking queue numbers and appearances. Need to be more discipline in those areas especially if one is to achieve success in the line.

Met a lot of people with different characters as well as personalities. Those local and foreign ones of course. Language barrier is another hurdle to overcome as everyday we'll meet people of different races and backgrounds. Those nasty ones especially is hard to pleased. Those who like to argue a lot, and come to the last resort, managers will be called upon to settle those major problems. Eventually, it all comes down to a point where mind over matter is crucial.

The most beautiful part of my line is when customers walk away with their problems solved. Seeing the smile on their faces really makes my day. After a hard and long day at work, a smile from a customer is what matters most. Making their day left me with great satisfaction although there's a lot of paperwork that needs to be done, especially on closing shifts. Nevertherless, customers' satisfaction is the main priority and number one on the list of the nature of the job. Having said that, a note to remember, customers' used to be right always before, but not anymore now.

A Memorable Experience

Well, here it is. The end of our learning journey at Starhub. Although it is just for a month, but we have bonded like years. A month ago, we were just noboby to one another and strangers to the telco world. But with the great help rendered by our trainers, we have reach what we are today. Well equipt to meet the real world. There's no more roleplays, jokes, laughters or even re-doing our mistakes as and when we did one. There's no more spoon feeding and chances given anymore. We are on our own now. To swim in the open sea although without lifejackets but with a lifeguard (our managers in the respective outlet) looking upon us. It's really been a great journey with group H35 and I wanna thank each and everyone of them for making my learning experience a memorable yet innovative one. And the biggest thanks goes to all the trainers that had managed our group. Even though at times we ask irrelevant questions, but all of the trainers answered it with a smile and managed to tolerate with our nonsense. Well, all the best to all and have a wonderful career with Starhub. Thanks guys for everything. Cheers.

Been receiving lots of feedbacks recently. Not due to my posts, infact its regarding the tuning of my blog. The songs i played in it. Infact, the truth about it is that most of it used to be my favourite before i switch to new ones. I mix the archive songs and the recent hits and blend it to suit my mood. As now i feel like just wanna dance to the tune of reggaeton, and here it is, Sientelo.

Was once a hit in the third quarter of 2006, where almost everyone back in camp was using it as a ringtone. An incident that i won't forget regarding this song in particular was when i used it as a ringtone. And it was Hari Raya Aidilfitri that day. All in the house was joking and chatting when someone called me. And there was a pause and everyone was looking at me. Their first impression? Well a buddha chant. Infact till now most of my friends when they first heard, was like WHAT??

Nevertherless, I just enjoy listening to universal music. Music from different genres. I am not those single genre types of person, where sticking to a genre means everything. Infact, good music can be found in every genre. From soul to metal core. To me a good music is where it's addictive and stuck in the head for a long long time to come. Be it rap, jazz, numetal, punk-cover or even the 'jiwangs', it is up to the individual to filter it and judge it based on ones' preferences.

As for me, all good music are music that make the listener engrossed in it. No matter what they do, it just plays on and on and on. Correct me if i'm wrong in my opinions regarding music, and as the saying of Bob Marley goes 'NO MUSIC NO LIFE', guess music do play a significant part in our lives. Groove.

Generally satisfied with that work perhaps. Is perhaps a realistic word for it? Guess doesn't have any other listed vocabs to go for. Felt better than before as everything is taken off it. Kept it the way it is for quite sometime and relieving it off was the most awaited time. Pretty busy with commitments for quite a while and try not to think too hard about it. That way works really well at first, but as it draws nearer and nearer, it's beginning to take a toll on me.

Unfairness in sight, and that's the sole reason of the action. Judging on the outlook, letting it the way it is do bother me a little. It's like dead there and no one except me can change the whole situation. Without wasting more time, finally i decided to give it a clean look today. Yes, it's washed and waxed. Talking bout FIT-ria of course. It has a fresh look and a cleaner not just exterior, interior as well. Really gonna get that KIT (wash and wax) solution off the rack.

Just being honest here.

I wonder why people are sometimes being selfish. In a sense of not thinking of the others. Self proclaim stereotypes do exists and they are the ones who spoils everything. Saying what they feel is right and wrong, and not listening to others are one great example. They want people to do their way and not giving others a chance is the least the society needs. Having a minimal space for others' thoughts or feelings is a great way to start curbing the selfish act. Gradually, after listening to others often, the feelings will fade inch by inch.

Keep staying and living the selfish way and soon the circle of friends and colleagues will shrink. Thus, when one thinks back, it's no use crying over spilled milk. Done deal. It's gone. No matter what, now is not too late to start being less-selfish. A new day awaits as everyday is actually a day to 'repair' the characters within us. No one is perfect including myself and if everyone is perfect, man doesn't needs to practice it. Prior to that, if one can manage the theory of life well, there's bound to be a meaningful journey in life ahead.

Another day and this will all be perfect. Perfect to the optimum as expected earlier. Sooner or later, stories will circulate among those 'leeches' wanting to finish off all the excess blood available. Litres by litres blood flows out of the vein and the entire system will be adjourned. Those malingering acts will support the whole affidavit and be compiled to a personal file of hearing. Processes after processes, proceedings and more proceedings, the act of explaining or self explaining will be the only way of clearing the doubts that lingers.

Self explanatory without the aid of affidavits and supporting documents ends up giving the wrong information. Typical mindset of human being is that first gut feeling is the right one. Yes, heart plays a role, however that first debut feeling will never be a hundred percent correct. Fluctuating between a yes or a no, a right or a wrong, human will eventually choose or pick either one without giving more thoughts.

Given more time to think plays an importance in making that thought active. Active in a way that it helps to strengthen the self believe that had just build up prior to the whole process. Organizing everything is next on the menu list as self believe and the thoughts had been spread on the buffet table. Now it is left to just expressing the whole sequence in order to achieve optimum delicacy. One that hopefully they won't regret forever nor blamed it on the menu list of decision making as a whole.

Life has it's own decision making. And the biggest decision making has yet to come.

Movement affected, a little space given, each has its own ways of doing it no matter how one will put it. The fact is that none will give way to one another. Importance of this little space is so precious that going into it can be the most relieve process ever. In contrast, the other party without the access to it, will have to wait for the next oppurtunity when it arises. The heat may be unbearable but the willingness to hold it through from time to time is a great achievement. Therefore, brilliance is what matters most.

Generally people will tend to forget about others or shall i say, the other party when it comes to this situation. Oh forget it, what matters most is their ego. Selfishness will overcome the sense of humanity and thus it became an encouragement to take things into their own hands. Each one has its own ways of doing it, directly is one and indirectly is another. Each also has its own main character to play for. The sense of urgency inside is the main reason behind the scene factor.

Holding onto the really 'painful' plus heat process is a bitter pill to swallow. Being freed from and the smell of freshness after it, is the true moment that everyone is looking forward to. Making it that far with those problems can't be as challenging as one thought. It's easier said than done. Any party who disagrees is someone who has a bucket, or shall i say buckets of patience within them.

Try it to believe it and at the end of the day, let's see who's having the last laugh. Or shall i put it, at the end of the experience, who has the last laugh. Having said that, its really a blessing to be given that little bit of more space to breathe because the closer it is, the more tight and 'tangled' someone will feel. The comfort level is there to be hit and hitting that zone of comfortness throughout the whole process is difficult. It won't take one person to achieve it, the other party will have to sacrifice a little more in ensuring comfortness among them.

For those who still didn't get what i'm saying from the first word, well it is the morning-peak-period rush hour in trains. Getting into the train is one thing, and surviving the entire journey is another in the making. There's really many characters one can find onboard but the common one is charging in while going into the train and standing inside it. In short, that's life in Singapore.

Roaming freely with mat sluadalam, the 2 banglas, ucop, and amin pendek really bring back the old memories. Use to riding bicycles before but now as the years gone by, i'm with FIT-ria, the banglas with the bike (a week old X1-R) and mat sluadalam and amin with mat's bike (RXZ camel paintwork) and a noisy cum irritating pipe. Ucop, well in my FIT-ria of course as he's on the way in learning car and bike. Seems like he still doesn't makes up his mind on which form transport to choose for.

Then came Jak the giant on his two foot. A good way to exercise for him though. Missing only was black as he's busy with his new love. His new glimmer of life, Dian. And so does acir, appointment with his girl. Then again its still noisy with them around and disturbing people was the usual routine when we met up. Of course it's a little tone down compared to before.

As usual, my cigs was 'taxed' by them. Reason being "alah....kao dah keje per....lain lah kiter masih amik duit mak bapak". I was loss for words. Whatever it is, its a good reunion as its really difficult to go out together like before due to commitments or shall i say personal commitments. Like before, we head to no where and just move around and around to no end. And finally to the street soccer court. I was like WHAT???

Its been 2 years since i last played. And to get back to playing again was more difficult then i think it was. Took time to settle in and fortunately i manage to make it through besides the little blister on my foot. At first i was really panting and panting and find it hard to get into the game, but slowly and finally i was like before. Before meaning like 2 years back when i played every weekend with them. Now seems a little tired though but that's a norm as its really been a while since i last exercise and played.

Basically the right word is for the past two years, i've been really lazy. That's a fact to declare. Guess i've got to be like before. Playing soccer every weekend firstly to gain back my touch and to prepare for reservist and IPPT. As the IPPT windows for me is this june till next june, i have a year to pass it or to go for remedial IPPT session in the camp. I rather pass my IPPT then return back to camp for remedial training conducted after office hours or worst, weekend. I don't want to burn my weekend for this small things. In short, aim for pass and you're safe for a year.

Figuring ways to manage time is a real mind-draining task. A good time management thus ensuring a systematic piece of life planned. Juggling the normal daily routine with work can be a BIG problemo when one isn't good with time management. Refeering to the latter, one can be sure of a hellacious end to the day if proper time management isn't done.

Memories of secondary school, where those were the carefree days, time management as i admit doesn't flow in my daily life. Morning to school and at the end of school hours, will be draining the sweat at soccer till evening and reached home just when the sun was about to set. From day one had been practicing that and eventually it is a habit that carried on till the last day of my academic life. Still remember the time when i got this little notebook from my discipline master. YES, I was on probation during secondary three for a year. Reason, I prefer to keep it to myself.

A happy go lucky person i was before, as i take things lightly and slowly. Before my thinking was, ' TODAY IS TODAY, TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY '. Sounds true, BUT a lot of time been wasted like hanging in the void deck, roaming the streets, playing soccer etc. I don't give a thought about others opinion before. My prinsip was that I make my own life and how I think or what i do doesn't bother anyone else. Rebellious? Well at times though.

' HIDUP GAMBLE MATI SIMPLE ' was the phrase that i put it into life during poly days. Not scared of trying anything considered stupid during poly. Things like wearing of slippers to campus, outrageous hair colour (red), smoking in school compound and toilet, skipping class, playing cards etc. I will just do what i feel like during that time. My thinking was, ' KENE TANGKAP BARU BEBUAL '. And only the playing cards and wearing slippers was caught. But that still didn't deter me from doing it again. And again. And again.

Now thinking back, if I was to have a proper time management, I won't be doing those stupid unglamorous stuff back then. Too much free time is what had made me do those unnecessary stuff before. I was lucky as not to be influenced by some people that i mix with. Typically lucky that what i feared on that eventful day doesn't happened. It was during secondary school time. An incident that i will always remember till now. An incident that will change my life now IF at that point of time we were ambushed. Really thank GOD for not making it happen. That incident will always be a 'black day' in my life.

Truthfully now, I am beginning to have a proper time management. Furthermore, as I am approaching the working world, as responsibilities pilled up to the stressed level, only good time management will ease the burden of it all. Although it's not perfect now, but i'll practice to perfect my time management cause there's a phrase once said by a fren of mine, ' PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, IF A MAN IS PERFECT, WHY PRACTICE '. I had some time figuring this out though.

Slowly but surely. Slow and steady. Whatever the phrases may be, it all sums up to one thing. Yes, I agree that patience is a virtue. Patience is killing deep down inside. No words can summarise the hardship, mind-draining, and the tiredness of goin from one place to another. Be it by bus, trains or FITria. However, after 28 days, 672 hours, countless resumes sent, numerous calls from unknown person regarding interviews, FINALLY it is done deal. This offer is so far the best i've received and have clinched it with Starhub.

Thinking back, the time and effort i had gave seems worthwhile. Before, the usual routine after waking up and washing up is to open the papers to classifieds. Unsatisfied with the job listings posted, next up is the PC and into Jobstreet, Jobslite etc. Upteen times done till it is becoming a cycle and will have to stop it at once. The feeling of being unemployed really irrates me. Sometimes i think that it is a big great burden to be sitting at home and awaiting a kind soul asking me out. As most of them are working or studying, therefore can't hope for much.

First impression while looking for a job and as i read more jobposts, is that they need EXPERIENCE. As the phrase " salary will commensurate with experience " suggest. What am i goin to do with this? During the army, i was a driver back then and although it is for two years, my only experience is driving. But then again, i don't wanna be a driver for the rest of my life (not looking down on drivers). What i want is a stable job for now and forever and a stable income to take home with.

I told myself that whatever happens, how long it takes i will get a stable income job. Days gone, time flies, and eventually a ring from the Human Resource officer from Starhub yesterday made the difference i've been waiting for all this while. It came at 2.09pm on a Sunday afternoon right infront of ITE Bishan (as i was driving but eventually stopped to answer the call).

I just wanna share an experience or shall i say my experience of getting a job. What i've gone through is like a mini hell to me. And for those readers who had been planning for employment, although i am not a great adviser, but my advice is, keep trying and trying. Because if the job is meant to be yours, no matter how long or how many times you apply, it will sure be yours one day. Remember, patience is a virtue. And no happiness is achieved without hardship been suffered first.

A sole guidance is quite formal in life. Making use of it well will lead one to a much better living in the future. Be it ten years or more down the road, that split second decision making will have a great impact in ones' welfare. How good or bad the example is, it comes down to a five second future-making impact that can be a great help in settling down. Friendship as well as kinship are the two main factors that need to be juggled well in order to sustain a life now labelled as demanding.

No matter how low or high ones' well being is in society, it is important to mingle around with people from all walks of life. From doctors and lawyers, to hawkers and the much-famous rag and bone man, all have the same goal in life and that is to keep up with the pace and demands of the modern world. In short, we can't and shall not look down on society that is having a 'small' way of life as whatever they do, they do it in an honest way.

I'm kind of feeling the pressure to get on with my life as the feeling of boredom tends to cover me as i speaks. People criticises me for turning down a few job offers but i have every reason to do it. Yes, it its true that little money is still money, but i just don't want this habit of changing jobs every time a good offer comes in. I'd rather take my time and choose a more stable, financially and economically job.

Reason is that if i've found a stable job, i can see myself and my future in it and saves the trouble to keep e-mailing out resumes day in day out and coming down for interviews. Changing jobs will soon becomes a habit and it is addictive. I'm not being choosy although income plays an important role but in life sometimes, this little trivial matters can be a headache that just won't disappear.

I still have till this Friday awaiting the last and final call from Starhub. Really hope that i can get the job as so far in the interview today, I think I manage to strike it with the Human Resource Department representative. That is if all goes well but if it kind of doesn't, then maybe the interview with CPF Board as an investigation officer this coming Friday too will do the trick.

Senses. I need to come to my sense. What am I goin to do in life. The career path of my future must be decided. Now i'm like just getting the fun of applying for jobs for the fun of it and when accepted, I decided to work for a day or worst, reject it on the spot. Diethelm willing to pay $1600 from the initially $1400 job, but i rejected it due to the distance (Penjuru Rd) and the time it starts work. I am still in a daze of how i become like this. Maybe am still in a holiday cum playing mood and does not take this seriously.

I have told myself from now on that March will be gone within an hour from the time i end this post and come April, a new self-believe will be rebirth. How it will come by, I am not so sure bout that but i have every confidence to at least settle down for work by April. Its easy for one to say though, as the decision will eventually befall on me to make do or break it. Again.

Relishing dreams doesn't necessarily needs sacrifices. With a lil bit of luck and the dream may turn into reality. Making the right choice is essential to guarantee a lifetime success and happiness. As for me, i'm on the verge of making the right decision. But the calls have yet to come and my handphone have yet to ring (besides call from the usual ones).

But in a relationship, making the right choice is much more difficult. Furthermore when you are managing two hearts at the same time a third one came rolling in. If i were to poll from an audience on which to pick, many would have chose the third choice. Reason being new, fresh and a totally changed one from the previous two. But then again, to break a heart is so heartrenching for the one that's on the receiving end. But what about two hearts broken. It's unfair and cruel as far as i am concerned. Had talked well to the person involved in this scenario yesterday and just a note to him that although i am not a love-doctor, but its really unjustified to let go of the two and get together with a new one. But, I think this new one suits him, well enough though.Hahaha.

Exactly 6 months ago i got the W850i by extending my contract with starhub.....and tanx to the $100 voucher too.....well now i've traded in dat phone for a W660i....price of it (second hand) when i bought was $280....they took my phone for $180.....so i need to top up $100....but i sold my the other Sony Ericsson phone K750i to ma cuzzin for $80 and thus a topping up of $20 is needed......quite a bargain actually.....reason for taking the W660i is that firstly it's a walkman phone......secondly.......i'm bored of using slide phone frankly speaking.....and thirdly it was love at first sight with the phone....white was a limited colour edition for that model and as i saw it...i juz couldnt bare not to take it..........but i really wanna get the W960i.....maybe in 3 months time i guess.....hehe.....when the time is right actually....well....juz preferred Sony Ericssons' phones more than the others.....with due respect of course........no offence though..........

When baby boo hits town yesterday............

Went down to Kallang Stadium for the match today......and due to the unpredictable whether and tanx to the taxi uncle (for dropping us off at the wrong entrance)....we bought ourselves a Grandstand seat.....well that was unplanned for.....anyway...although the game was kinda dull but the 'scenery' of Aussies was marvellous.....hehe....met up with shad and fadly (shad's cuzzin) and bump into some old frens from Guangyang Sec.....Yan from 2 PDF....Zaki from SP....Firas from 6 SIR.....and some unrecalled names.....

Making use of some free time to 'refurnish' my room....the problem now is the colour.....was told to play with two colour...thought of light and dark grey actually....but never mind....have till this monday to decide again on it....will ask around for some help.....found some old collections like old photos....old stuffs that has a lot of memories on it....and can't be discarded in any other way coz itz too 'costly'.......won't be getting those stuffs again in the future though.....

Thought of rearranging the position of the things in my room.....but comes to think about the painting...well.....gonna have to do it after all the painters have done their job in repainting my room....to start off with....a great colour combination......worst case.....gonna consult the interior consultant that came this morning.......

Life is full of colours.....some are bright and some are dull....one's life is coloured from day one when they saw the first glimpse of light....and from then on...they are coloured by their seniors till the day they began to noe the true meaning of life...and from then on....they choose which colour to shade onto their life....nobody in this world seems not capable to pick the colours on their own accord....everyone will definitely tend to have their own thinking and opinions regarding their future and dat also applies to me......so basically in life.....its not really how u are coloured before...but how u want to colour ur future........being able to choose a correct colour will end u up in a more stabilised life ahead......but by choosing a wrong colour one shall not look back and blame it on the colours dat ure brought up with.......choices play a key role in success.......

And yeah........its been 3 years since i got ma driving license....and congrats to Izzad for getting his........after wad he had been through prior to converting his military license to a civilian license....:-)

The rain didn't hamper my spirit though.....keeping on the move to make it look more presentable rather than looking plain yet pale.....and common among the rides in town....guess this 'holidays' is such a bore dats why spending money to makeover the ride.....slowly but surely....slow and steady.....and by raya hopefully will get it done inside out.....legally.....all of it needs money though and a call from a job agency today lifted my spirits.....a customer service executive in Ayer Rajah.....interview coming up soon.....and not forgetting Singtel Retail Consultant and SIA Engineering.......well.....Singapore Police Force has yet to reply.....not as a uniformed one.....but more to management site in the SPF........its a matter of time dat i will get a job........hopefully.......coz making over my FIT will need papers with Mr Yusof Ishak's picture on it.........

Went through 'hell' just to settle my stuff to claim my IC today....to those who went thru with me today for the whole process....well....its worth it guys.....people like Azad...Khaleel...Izzad...Hafiz and Azmi......the rushing....the scolding....the bashing thru the rain for Azmi and the hungriness plus thirstiness.......all faded when we finally got wad we wanted.....the freedom and back to civilian life.........guys.....we made it in the nick of time.........

My national service story........

Called up for national service as a 22 year old (is it old for national service) on the 11 of March 2006....at 9.45am.....step foot at Tekong BMTC School 1 and i noe my life is gonna change....first soul i talked to in Tekong as an enlistee is a great friend of mine.....Md Izzad bin Rahim aka Art.....he look stressed though at dat moment of time.....well...for me i'm quite happy to serve coz i juz wanted to get it over and done with.....trust me....posted to Jaguar Company Platoon 3 Section 1 Bed 11......and my buddy is the ever fashionable Md Zulkifli bin Maonah aka Fly....fashionable...??? well he's from NAFA.......guess i've answered dat question......had a great time in Tekong and i really enjoyed my stay there....passed out as a private on my birthday (luckily no one played prank on me) 7 June 2006.......and i start my life from a recruit to a private then.......

Posted to 2PDF Clementi Camp as a Transport Operator (driver lah...)......before anyting happen....was attach to Maju Camp of 6 SIR.....situated along Clementi Rd.....went to drivers' course around July of 2006 till end of August 2006.....supported the IMF when i returned from driving course.....attach to Exxon-Mobil Refinery (EMR) in Oct 2006 for 2 weeks as a supporting driver for the KINS........

My big break came when i was posted to Changi Airport KINS......on February of 2007 till February of 2008.....a year in KINS really change my life furthermore our bunk is situated in Airport Police Division (APD)......i'm like living a police life.....the guys in APD really made me feel like home...there's no issue as different uniform or different thinking......we exchange experiences about our respective life as an army personnel and police personnel.......i learn more about the Singapore do's and dont's from them.....

Back to 2PDF Clementi Camp after Maju Camp MT-Line was closed down due to some unforseen circumstances......spent the remaining of my Natonal Service time there and finally.....today...10 March 2008 at 3.50pm........i end my service as an active natonal serviceman.....i've done my 2 years of army and now i am ready to face the working world........

Autobachs stuffs

Nothing better to do as had too much free time......went down to autobachs accessories to check out on the air-filter for ma ride.......got the price of $200 plus installation.....didn't get it today coz thought of checking it out at mcwell accessories in ubi.....someone said dat other places sometimes are cheaper.....so not in a hurry to get it though.....but.....got some stickers at autobachs today.....the one i really wanted will be ready this tuesday.....a customised sticker of my name......finally changed my antenna to a more smaller and shorter one.....which looks more presentable.....up next.....the customised sticker and the air filter.....which will eventually change the sound of my ride........

Well...........wad really important to me next is....in 24hrs time...i'm back to civilian life....and now my pink IC is awaiting calmly at Jurong Camp......the countdown begins.......

Guess this will be the end of 'working' in the army....was activated on friday and juz reach home today in the evening....all because of the guy who escape.....wad a fool he is and a person who made the life of the rest of the Singaporean miserable.....was to clear this whole week on leave and actually had an interview today....but all was down to the drain thanx to dat person....luckily had the interview rescheduled or it will really made me fumed to the max......its hell when u had to stay 24hrs outfield....and driving in the cemetery area in he middle of the night added more 'pressure'......thankfully nothing happened during the night driving......and tanx to master chay for those cigs......although i noe where he got it from....its still cigs........have to go down to camp on fri to get 3 more major signatures on my clearance.....

But now.......gonna have my long awaited peaceful undisturbed piece of sleep after a hellacious outing at Lim Chu Kang area....to be exact......Muslim and Chinese cemetery........

Been away to be close to the surrounding......that's where i started off knowing the real world of survival....in another word it is called back to basic....back at the jungle of Poyan Range where needed to cover safety for the live rounds shooting exercise of Nsmen on monday.....kinda feel bored in the first place but as times goes by.....hmm.....mixing with those reservist guys really felt like ure in another world.....saw a familiar face among them....the guy with the new song recently....dats didicazli.....his new song dat is cuurently famous is Seribu Kenangan....but the one song dat can't be taken off him is the one dat made his career start from a dikir barat guy to a singer is Dambaan Cinta.....heard dat before.....??dat aside...the one important thing dat really happen on monday and the event dat really made me smile to the max is the one week which i suppose to come to camp...has been overwritten and now i'm free till the 10 of march.....and the detail on monday for the Nsmen dat i cover is officially the last one of my national service life....hmmm....dats wad i'm talking about.....and Izzad...if ure reading this.....like i told u before.....nie semua leh bebual nye......heheheh.......

Beginning to feel the real pressure of getting a job rite now....yeah....at this very moment....is the job market damn bad...??? Knew one or two people whom haf just resign from their job and looking for other openings.......previously their pay was way above my expected pay.....their pay was $2400....yes....i am not kidding....$2400....but i cant fill their shoes in their previous company as we haf different background in studies....damn.....and now they are looking at oppurtunities elsewhere....didnt noe their reason of quitting though......their only reason was to get new experiences.....hmmm.....thought of goin into the sales line....with high demand in the sales market (internet research and tanx to jobsdb.com).....guess if its around $1600....i think i will grab....who noes after gaining some experiences in the line.....i can set up my own business.....haha....wad business....??? dat haf to tink later in life......coz my dream is to be my own boss.......security system maybe......but one thing is for sure.....its hard to survive without job.....and futhermore i am attached to my 'FITria' (sounds familiar...???).......taking care of her really needs a stable income for sure.......

A new rule came up.....no more smoking in the house (toilet is exceptional......).........haf to do it at the corridor.....which i had done for the past 24 hours...........

Medical checkup done.....now having a meaningless life in the army.....enjoying the days as the time clicks by....will find ways to avoid the MT-Line office as not to bump into 'someone' and will be told to do uneccassary stuffs....had a great time with khaleel....zul and izzad in the bunk yesterday chatting...laughing and catching up with them......will really miss those staying-in period...although dat time how i wish i could stay out....but now we chose to stay in instead....optional....coz after the 10 of next month....we aren't able to stay in anymore till reservist....next stop.....SIGNING OF CLEARANCE for ORD.........and dat will have a really hard time finding people......hopefully we won't..........but for now.....Panasonic interview tomorrow......wish me luck.........

Its officially over....the FABOULOUS attachment to Changi Airport......really had a wonderful time there.....seen frens come and go.....they are great.....really magnificient....life must go on.....i had done my job there and was realieved to have done it smoothly and successfully.....although sometimes we take things in our own hands.....cant say it here though....hehehe....its really like my second home there....was closer to Changi Airport Police Division then to my own camp...so u can just imagine the time i had there.......

Beginning to enjoy the feeling of being a senior in the unit.....left with a month to end the army tour really excite me.....with four more weeks to go.....and each week i only report one to camp.....means i left with just four more days.....believe it....four more days of regimental life.....gonna miss wearing the uniform...miss falling in and wad i will miss most is the bonding among the men in Green....to those who had went thru NS life......u should understand wad i meant.....

Now.....gonna get my well deserved break....and yeah....GET A JOB....!!!!!!!!

Got use to this life......as today is my one year anniversary werking (attached) to Changi Airport doing Kins......they say it is a glamour place to be attached to...well....starting it was....as times goes by.....i see Changi Airport as a normal place like Cineleisure....Suntec and The Esplanade.....nothing much of a difference though from the others except there's plane everywhere..........my next shift on this sat-sun will gonna be my last.....am beginning to miss the place already.....the friends i made there....and the helpfullness of the police guys during my stay there......guys....ure wonderful.......tanx for making my stay at APD a memorable and meaningful one....the one i wont forget forever.....

Wasn't really aware of it anyway......didn't understand it at all....yes it all happen in a blink of an eye....first it was there and next it is gone....it is slowly fading away and thought dat it won't come back again.....but i was prove wrong this time around....due to some uneventful occasion.....those things come back to haunt and bugged again.....guess it had to end this way.....releasing it slowly but steadily is an idea dat struck in an instant....though in the first place it came running down to me like a cool mountain wind blowing towards me....is this wad i get as retribution.....if it is....then i accept it with open arms.....i've made mistakes before and this is wad i get in return....life's like a wheel....sometimes ure up there....and sometimes ure at ground zero......in life.....wad u did to people before....is wad u get in future......thinking before every action is wad makes life more interesting ahead.........
